My Passion
Partnering with children to help them grow academically, socially and emotionally is my passion. I say ‘partnering’ because I believe in equipping and empowering children to take control of their own growth, with me coaching and partnering alongside them.
Even young children can be taught about how their brain works and can choose to grow as far as their mindset takes them. When a child is encouraged to grow, believes they can grow, and is taught how to grow, it WILL happen. They just need a partner.
I want to help YOU be your child's partner. I’ll do the research for you, gather the most effective resources for you, and create easy to use lessons for you to connect with your child and watch them grow.
My Experience
In nearly two decades of education experience, I have taught or tutored over 400 students. As an educator and a parent, I’ve developed this passion for equipping parents to become partners with their own children.
When my son was diagnosed with dyslexia in 5th grade, I devoted my extra time and efforts to helping him find success. I learned first hand that finding helpful tools is overwhelming. I spent countless hours searching for solutions and ideas, trying to weed out the effective from the ineffective. I believed there had to be a better way. That’s why I have created proven resources for parents to find success in helping their children grow... AND why I only include strategies when I’ve seen for myself that they work.
My tools are built upon my years of expertise as a classroom teacher, a private tutor, and as a parent. The thousands of hours I have spent studying the brain and how it grows have defined my beliefs and methods on what children need. So I am excited to offer tools for other parents to help their children succeed.
